This is reflected in the rising shelter populations and the growing demand for animal welfare services. As we look ahead, we expect this need for pet assistance to continue increasing. The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Denton, TX, committed to saving animals in the Denton area. We achieve this by supporting the City of Denton Linda McNatt Animal Care & Adoption Center and through our community programs that assist both pets and the people who love them.
DASF receives no government funding and entirely depends on community support to sustain our programs.

The mission of the Denton Animal Support Foundation is to save more Denton area animals. We accomplish this by focusing on the Linda McNatt Animal Care & Adoption Center (City of Denton Animal Shelter), and the Denton community. The strategic goal is to ultimately save more Denton area animals through adoption and prevention of abandonment.
As the population of Denton grows, so does the need for DASF's crucial programs and strategic partnerships with Denton area non-profit organizations working to make life better for at-risk populations. DASF is currently in need of funding for our many programs. Your contribution benefits many homeless, injured, and neglected pets. Each year the Denton Animal Shelter serves over 5,500 abandoned pets-- your gift will further the DASF mission by providing funding for public education, and critical programs including adoption subsidies and medical expense funding.

By generating revenue in perpetuity, the Endowment Fund helps the shelter remain state-of-the-art, funding specific needs and programs that are not included in the City budget.
