We have saved hundreds of German Shepherds from our local DFW area as well as the big state of Texas. This is only possible with donations from our wonderful supporters!
All the dogs brought into our program are evaluated by our vet and fully vetted before adoption.
All donations will go towards to the vetting costs of the current dogs in our program. All dogs are spay/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped before adoption. Donations will also help with any medical case within our rescue and help treat dogs with heartworms.
We are also in need of Large and X-Large wire and airline crates, Heartworm prevention , Flea/Tick medication, Collars, Leashes , Dog Food, and Cleaning Supplies.
DFW German Shepherd Rescue is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless German Shepherds across North Texas.
Most of the GSDs brought into our rescue program come from local shelters. Although, some dogs are strays and owner surrenders. Over 4o% of the dogs in our program are underweight, malnourished, and in need of months of rehabilitation.
We have taken in several medical cases this year. The funds will help us continue to provide services for dogs who need major vet attention.
