That's over 3,800 abandoned dogs that now have loving forever homes thanks to our all-volunteer, foster based organization. As an all-volunteer organization, 100% of donations received help us accomplish our mission of finding loving forever homes for dogs that would otherwise be euthanized.

Our Needs

DFW Rescue Me is an all-volunteer rescue group that is able to accomplish its mission through the generosity of donors and volunteers. All donated funds directly benefit our rescued dogs. Our mission can only be accomplished through our loving foster homes and volunteers. More information about becoming involved in DFW Rescue me can be found on our website at dfwrescueme.org.

Mission

DFW Rescue Me is a foster based, all-volunteer rescue group in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. Our mission is to provide a "new leash on life" by finding permanent and loving homes for lost, abused, and abandoned dogs. It is our goal to have a positive impact through adoption programs, teaching responsible pet ownership, and emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering to control overpopulation.

Needs

One of DFW Rescue Me's greatest needs is foster homes. Foster homes allow us to save dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. Fostering dogs is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have, and we do our best to make the experience as easy as possible for you and the dog. We provide all medical needs, heartworm and flea medications, and crates. We ask that the foster home provides the food and most importantly love. However, we know times are financially challenging for some individuals so we can also provide the food, if needed. For more information on how to save a life by fostering please visit our fostering section on our website at dfwrescueme.org.

Can't foster, no worries we have scheduled adoption events in the metroplex that we would love to have you volunteer. You can find these volunteer opportunities on our website at dfwrescueme.org. So, join us in helping abandoned, abused and neglected dogs find a "new leash on life"!
