Gaming Tournament & TEC Expo

The DFW Metro NAACP is dedicated to diversity and inclusivity in STEAM education. The DFW Metro NAACP presents its 2nd Annual Youth Gaming Expo & Tournament during the 10th Annual Denton Black Film Festival. This event promises to be both engaging and educational for our youth participants, parents, and community. The event will expose participants to STEAM concepts through game development and facilitate learning through expert presentations from executive industry professionals. Participants will be able to engage in a high-energy esports atmosphere in a friendly, competitive format. Event-goers will also have an opportunity to be educated on the exciting world of Indie game development and explore the possibilities at the vendor booths.

This event will blend technology, creativity, and competitive spirit. This is not just a celebration of digital skills and gaming, but also a platform for students and young professionals to connect, learn, and showcase their talents.
