DRNT is able to rescue, rehabilitate, adopt and place 300+ dogs per year all because of our wonderful volunteers and supporters.
We are always in need of volunteers at our weekly Sunday Open House, 10a-2p. The dogs would love Nylabones, treats, leashes, collars and canned food! Donations for food, medical care and support are greatly appreciated and help us pull dogs slated for euthanization that would otherwise be overlooked because of their condition. With donations we are able to pull dogs with severe cases of mange, broken bones and conditions that may be considered unappealing to the general public whether it be aesthetic or due to underlying health conditions we can treat with the right medical care. We are in need of funding to keep up with the supply of food for the dogs in our program, ongoing repairs for our organizations building, as well for kennel surface/repairs, etc.
For 30 years, Doberman Rescue of North Texas has been placing purebred unwanted, neglected or abandoned Dobermans in loving forever homes. We are the largest Doberman Rescue serving all of Texas with a network extending into the upper Mid-West. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization comprised of individuals with various facets of experience, offering adopters a wealth of information and an extended support network after adoption.
