We currently need funding to assist families with camps,advocacy,funeral expenses, legal assistance, transportation,copays, education, therapy,dental care and other related services.
Dominique Cares is a resource and an advocacy for families providing counseling,grants,education,support,medical expense assistance and other services to enhance individuals and their families who have Autism ,IDD and all other disabilities/Special Needs.
Dominique Cares is still in need of support in order to fulfill the vision and mission of the organization. There are many parents and caregivers who are unable to provide detrimental needs to their children. We provide an array of services such camps for kids and adults when school is not in session. Grants to offset cost of copays,deductibles,guardianship, advocates,funeral expenses,
medications,adaptive aids and other basic necessities. We offer parenting workshop and training. Additionally, we provide job coaching and work experience. We offer a special needs basketball program and monthly parent night outs. During back to school , (which is very challenging for many of our families),we provide must needed school supplies. We also provide appropriate holiday gifts and food to families during that season. As a result, we need donors, volunteers and sponsors who are willing and able to help us make an immediate impact in our community. We strengthen families by meeting their needs and giving them hope.
Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of those we service and bring awareness, acceptance, action and access to the community at-large. We are sending a message that inclusive is pivotal and we have a responsibility to aid our disabled population. Everyone matters, has value and should be granted opportunity to maximize.
