The Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization in Ellis County, Texas. The ECCAC responds to reports of child abuse and child sexual assault through a multi-disciplinary approach and provides family advocacy, forensic interviews, and mental health services for children and their families.
The mission of the Ellis County Children's Advocacy Center is to provide justice, hope, and healing through a multi-disciplinary response to child abuse.
We are in need of funds to continue our services to the community. Funds provided will allow us to:
-Provide free mental health services to our clients
-Provide snacks and meals to our clients and individuals in our office for appointments
-Provide ongoing support to clients and their families including providing community resources and cvc application assistance
-Provide additional educational opportunities for law enforcement, educators, and local businesses
At the Ellis County Children’s Advocacy Center, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We pride ourselves in maintaining staff that fits the diversity seen in the community and continue to look for ways to improve our services to meet the unique diverse and equitable needs of Ellis County as new, diverse families arrive. Our center has developed and implemented DEI curriculum from which we train our staff weekly and also provides this training to other partners who work alongside us in the criminal justice system.
