The EMPOWER Series is a monthly program where each month a financial literacy topic is addressed along with self-development topics. In addition to increasing the proficiency of financial principles and concepts such as financial planning, compound interest, managing debt, profitable savings techniques and the time value of money, the monthly programs address the motivation to transform and change a person's mindset, leading to new behaviors that will improve a person's financial circumstances and his/her achievement of life goals in other areas.
The series promotes the use of the FDIC Online Computer Base Instruction of Money Smart - A Financial Educational Program for Adults (Age 21 and over) and Young Adults (ages 13 to 20)
