The East Dallas Arts District is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching, educating, and inspiring our community through the arts. Based in the heart of historic East and Old East Dallas, we serve as the official hub supporting local artists, musicians, performers, and creatives by fostering a unified, vibrant arts and culture scene.
We believe that the arts are essential to a thriving community. Through events like our annual East Dallas Art Walk, artist talks, open studios, live performances, art workshops, neighborhood mural creation, and public art projects, we bring people together, foster creativity, and celebrate the diverse cultural voices of our area.
Our events not only celebrate the talent that live in East Dallas—they also create meaningful connections, boost the local economy, and enhance the beauty and identity of our neighborhoods.
Our work is led by artists who live and create in East and Old East Dallas, ensuring that every initiative is deeply connected to the spirit and stories of our neighborhoods. As a newly formed nonprofit, your support will help us grow foundational programs, cover event costs, and launch new community initiatives that keep the arts accessible for everyone.
Your support through North Texas Gives to the Arts and North Texas Giving Day helps us launch signature events like our annual East Dallas Art Walk, fund community beautification projects, and expand free or low-cost arts programming for all ages.
Together, we can make East Dallas a recognized and celebrated destination for the arts. Join us in building a creative future, right here at home.
