Making a Difference Together: Support Eastside Ministries

At Eastside Ministries, we believe in addressing the foundational needs of families so they can focus on overcoming more complex challenges like securing steady employment, providing education for their children, and finding a safe place to live. Our mission is to support families by offering essential services that create a solid base for their growth and stability.

Our Impact in 2023:

  • 7000 Households served, reaching over 30,000  individuals.
  • More than 6000 sack lunches distributed to those experiencing homelessness.
  • Food, clothing, hygiene items, and household goods valued at over $4 million.
  • Average value of services provided: $600 per family per month.

Despite these substantial contributions, we operate on an annual budget of just over $688,000.

How You Can Help:

  1. Financial Contributions: Your donations are essential to sustain and expand our services. Every dollar helps us continue to provide critical support to families in need and manage necessary repairs to our facilities and refrigerated truck.

  2. Building Donations: If you have a large, unused building on the Eastside of Fort Worth, consider donating it to us. A larger facility would enable us to serve even more families.

  3. Volunteers: We welcome volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. Your time and effort are invaluable in helping us achieve our mission.

In 2024, our commitment to community engagement and serving those in need has never been stronger. We're excited to share that we've expanded our outreach significantly, now reaching approximately 450 families each week. This growth includes providing essential food and clothing both at our location and directly in the neighborhoods we visit monthly.

To keep up with these increasing demands, we're working diligently to stretch every budget dollar. However, we need your support to continue this vital work. Here’s how you can help:

Donations will help us sustain our services, fund necessary repairs to our building and refrigerated truck, and work towards our dream of acquiring a larger facility to better serve even more people.

  2. Building Donations: If you know of a large, unused building on the Eastside of Fort Worth, we would love to explore opportunities to use it for our expanding services.

  3. Volunteer Opportunities: We're always in need of dedicated volunteers who have a heart for serving others. Your time and effort can make a real difference in our mission.
