The “three c’s”, Community, Collaboration, and Common Threads, represented in the Challenge logo symbolize the positive ripple effect we strive to achieve in everything we do. For the past 40 years, Challenge has been dedicated to providing essential prevention services and education to our community, serving as a community champion for public safety and community health through our collaborative efforts with all sectors of Tarrant County.
Our overarching goal remains consistent, to facilitate local responses to a wide array of negative health outcomes that are the results of substance misuse by:
Leveraging the power of community coalition work across our community
- Changing community norms with proven environmental strategies
- Conducting ongoing needs assessments and gap analysis of the current continuum of care
- Developing programs to address community needs
- Providing community-wide education on prevention
- Serving as technical assistance on substance use prevention and
- Administering the Family Recovery Court for Tarrant County.
We are, after all, connected by our common threads.
