What does the $2,000 North Texas Giving Day goal cover?

We will use the funds to bless our 200+ students with disabilities at Skyline, W. W. Samuell, H. G. Spruce, Lincoln, and Dade Middle School with weekly Young Life and Wyldlife (Dade) Clubs, outings, parties to celebrate special themes during the school year.  We will also make sure that the teachers and assistants that care for them every day of the week are blessed through our programming.  Please check out our "Media Gallery" below to see some of what takes place when we are all celebrating true life together at Young Life.  Thanks!

Our Fair Park Young Life Mission

We faithfully mentor all of our friends, mainstream middle school and high school students and adolescents who have disabilities, through weekly contact work going where they are and earning the right to be heard, club (an event we describe as "the best time of the week" or "a party with a purpose"), campaigners (discipleship Bible studies focusing on guided discussion and discovery), and camping trips during the school year and summer camp trips.  Our current Fair Park Young Life team has served South Dallas for over 17 years, and Young Life has had a presence in South Dallas since the early 1940s!

Our Needs

We are always looking for willing and able adults to join us and build healthy relationships with adolescents in our Fair Park Young Life area and also community.

We would love to connect volunteers to help us serve our campuses through special parties for the campus staff and also students we serve.  We can do more together!

Thanks for your generous support this year!

Mission

Young Life's Mission is to introduce adolescents to Christ and help them grow in their faith.
