Mission Statement: First Priority of America exists to take the HOPE of Christ to every student.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to unite the church to equip students so that every teen on every middle and high school campus in the United States can hear the Gospel from a friend.

About Us: First Priority of America educates, trains, and provides resources for Christian students to legally form clubs and share the gospel with unbelieving students on public school campuses across the United States. Under the protection of the 1984 Equal Access Act, students have the right to initiate and lead Christian clubs on campus. When students start a club, we provide church-approved youth workers to coach them on effective outreach strategies.

Our Approach:

  • Local Church Strategy: Our work is deeply integrated with local churches, involving students, youth pastors, and faculty sponsors who are part of local congregations.
  • Long Term Plan and Structure: We prioritize sustainable, enduring impact through structured programs that support ongoing ministry on school campuses.
  • Diverse Models: We adapt our approach to serve rural, suburban, and urban communities effectively.
  • Community-Based and Locally Owned: Each initiative is rooted in and owned by the local community, fostering ownership and relevance.
  • Essential Networks of Support: We build and sustain networks of support involving churches, volunteers, and community leaders to ensure success.
  • Student-Led Clubs: Our emphasis is on empowering students to lead and initiate clubs, fostering peer-to-peer evangelism and discipleship.

Why Now?

Now more than ever, the need to reach America's youth with the message of hope found in Christ is urgent, especially knowing that 85% of those who come to Christ do so before the age of 18. Consider these sobering statistics:

  • 23% of America’s youth are raised in single-parent homes, facing unique challenges and often lacking stable support systems.
  • Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among high school-aged youth, highlighting the profound need for emotional and spiritual support.
  • Teenagers between the ages of 12-19 are increasingly disengaged from church, with many feeling disconnected from faith communities that could offer them guidance and belonging.
  • Each generation has become less religious than the one before, with Generation Z being the least religious yet, indicating a growing spiritual void that needs to be addressed.

In light of these realities, First Priority of America is committed to equipping Christian students to form clubs on their school campuses. These clubs provide vital spaces where teens can encounter the love of Christ through their peers, find support in their faith journey, and discover a community that cares for them. By supporting the establishment of these clubs in North Texas schools, you directly contribute to addressing these pressing issues, offering hope and meaningful connection to the next generation.

Your partnership today will make a profound difference in the lives of young people who desperately need to hear the message of Christ's love and redemption. Together, we can impact our communities and empower students to become influencers for positive change in their schools and beyond.
