The Foundation For Allen Schools is a nonprofit educational organization whose mission is to support classroom innovation and provide educational opportunities for students and teachers in Allen ISD.
The Foundation carries out this mission through three primary programs:
Established in 1997 by a group of school and community leaders, the Foundation directly and positively impacts the 21,400 students enrolled in Allen ISD. The district is comprised of 16 elementary schools, 1 Pre-K campus, 3 middle schools, a 9th grade center, Allen High School, STEAM center and the Dillard Special Achievement Center.
The Foundation's goal is to provide resources not otherwise available to the school district which enhance and expand learning opportunities for all students. The Foundation supports programs, projects and initiatives that do not receive tax-based funding.
The Foundation For Allen Schools is seeking donations to fund classroom grants that will allow teachers to bring creative, innovative lessons to life across all curriculum areas and campuses in Allen ISD. The Foundation would also like to expand the amount of dollars that are available for Teacher Support in Allen ISD.
The most important factor in student success is the quality of the teachers in the classrooms. Having well trained teachers who have the necessary resources to make learning engaging and meaningful for each student will result in all children being prepared for success.

When considering giving we have needs in several areas. We are always appreciative to donations to the general fund or without restriction which allow us to spend the donation where the needs are greatest each year.
You can also choose to designate your donation to one of our 3 programs: Scholarships, Classroom Grants or Teacher Support/Training.
If you really want to be specific with your giving you can make a designated donation to a specific scholarship, a classroom grant at an Allen ISD campus or area of curriculum that you feel passionately about or you can choose to give to our Mentor Teacher program.
