Mission
Friends of Saint Joseph is a 501(c)(3) organization that serves to create and beautify the surrounding gardens of the St Joseph’s Residence.
St Joseph's Residence is served by the Bethlemite Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus as a non-profit, self-supporting facility operating within the Catholic Diocese of Dallas
Our mission is to build an awareness of dignity in aging and to build a community of love.
Needs
To maintain and enhance these gardens, we require $15,000 - $20,000 annually. This funding supports:
- Plantings & Seedlings: $6,000 annually.
- Mulch: $2,400 for six truckloads per year.
- Black Dirt: $2,400 for six truckloads per year.
- Special Projects: $5,000 - $9,000 for various seasonal enhancements and improvements such as our outdoor kitchen.
Your gift benefits not only residents and their families, but the surrounding neighborhood, and a diverse multitude of volunteer groups and individuals that enjoy spending time with the residents in our beautiful outdoor spaces.
