Mission

Organized in 1989, the Friends of the Burleson Public Library, a 501 (c) (3) organization, is comprised of individuals, businesses, and organizations with a mutual goal of support for the library.

Needs

Burleson has a 17,000 sq. ft. building serving a 55,000 and growing community. We're using every inch of space and programs that fill our capacity regularly, and many are moved outdoors or off site. To support this great service & need, the FOL would like to fund these additional needs.

1. Annual Summer Reading Program Support $5000

2. Laptop Kiosk charging station $35,000

3. Checkout Locker $75,000

4. Bookmobile $100,000 minimum

5. New Library Building $62 Million
