$36,000 Goal

We want you to be part of our story!

Since 1997, when $300,000 was raised to fund a library facility, University Park's community has supported the city's library with gifts of money, time, energy and love. Friends of the University Park Public Library has contributed more than $2 million to provide ongoing support of this community asset.

We rely on YOU to help us reach this goal. In this Centennial year for University Park, please give to help the library evolve and serve expectations for the next 100 years. We have welcomed new Library Director Jackie Lott and are excited about improvements already underway!

Mission

The Friends of the University Park Public Library strives to enhance the mission of the University Park Public Library by raising funds for high-quality materials and services, educational programming and special projects and equipment; hosting community programs and events; and providing trained volunteers.

Needs

The Friends directs dollars each year directly to the city to sustain the library and its collections.

We have a few needs beyond the monetary ask as well:

1. Visit the library to see what's new, update your library card and check out a resource. The City of UP is waiving replacement card fees this month!

2. Become a Friend to support efforts year-round! Friends gain early access to book sales and receive VIP treatment at some of our special events. https://uplibraryfriends.org/friend

3. Follow us on Instagram @friendsofUPPL for the latest happenings
