The Summer Reading Program and Mansfield Reads! are annual events that the Friends of the Mansfield Public Library funds each year. Your donation will support The Summer Reading Program which gets both adults and children excited about reading. Your donation will also support The Mansfield Reads! program which encourages everyone in the community to read the same book at the same time during one month each year. Along with related library programming, the event culminates with a talk from the author and book signing, which is free of charge to the community.

The Friends of the Mansfield Public Library is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization founded in 1965 that supports the library through fundraising, promotion and advocacy. The Friends use the money we raise to support popular programs, such as the Summer Reading Program and Mansfield Reads! event, as well as to purchase things the library needs that are not covered in their budget.
Your donation and support of the Friends of the Mansfield Public Library will help ensure these popular library events continue each year and that key needs are met. See below for examples of how your donation of any amount can make a difference.
