Our mission is to provide below market rental spaces for churches and non-profits while providing all the tenant services they need so they can put their money towards what really matters.
There are over 39,000 non-profits in north Texas. Most of them are small organizations trying to stretch every dollar for their cause. Here is why the work of the Gaston Christian Center (GCC) is so important!
The Gaston Christian Center provides affordable office space and services to non-profits and churches so that they can use more of their funds towards programs and services instead of rental fees and utilities. Most small organizations are trying to stretch every dollar for their cause, and when the average rental rate for office space in Dallas is over $26 a sq. ft. that causes budgets to get tighter. The Gaston Christian Center charges less than half of the Dallas average office rental rate! We save nonprofits & churches about 90% in overhead costs i.e., rent, utilities, janitorial fees, building maintenance and repairs.
The GCC took in $300,000 in rent for 46,526 sq. ft. of rented space last year, if the nonprofits and churches located in our building paid the average rate of $26, that would have been over $1,000,000. The GCC provided an in-kind gift of $750,000 dollars to the nonprofits and churches who rent in our facility through our rental assistance for nonprofits program. By providing affordable office space and payment of utilities for nonprofits & churches, the GCC can partner with 501c3's to make sure more money goes back into our community through the services and programs provided by the 17 organizations located inside our building.
Every dollar donated to the Gaston Christian Center helps to provide affordable space and utilities for 8 churches and 9 nonprofits. When you partner with the GCC through your giving, you also partner with 17 ministries providing services in healthcare, immigration, education, food security, and empowerment to the most vulnerable in our city.
