Be part of the Girl Scout movement! At Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, we're on a mission to inspire, empower, and equip girls to become the leaders of tomorrow. Throughout the years, Girl Scouts has empowered girls in leadership development, STEM opportunities, community engagement, outdoor adventures, and mental health and wellness resources.

Here's how your generosity this North Texas Giving Day makes a difference:

  • Leadership Development: This initiative focuses on developing essential leadership skills—critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making—empowering girls to face challenges with confidence and resilience. By participating in programs such as the Girl Scout Leadership Institute, presented by Amazon, girls gain the tools and experience needed for success in both college and their future careers, equipping them to navigate opportunities with courage and strategic insight.
  • STEM Opportunities: We offer cutting-edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experiences that ignite passion and curiosity in young minds. With your support, girls can gain hands-on learning opportunities that pave the way for future careers in these exciting fields.
  • Community Engagement: Some of our Girl Scouts engage in service projects that make a tangible impact on local communities. From environmental conservation to supporting local shelters, your contribution can help these young leaders give back in meaningful ways.
  • Outdoor Adventures: Adventure and exploration are at the heart of Girl Scouting. Your gift can help us provide things like memorable camping experiences, outdoor skills training, and activities that build confidence and resilience. From smores and campfire songs to wilderness survival, Girl Scouts have a lifetime of experiences they will carry with them.
  • Scholarships and Financial Aid: We believe that every girl deserves the chance to experience the benefits of Girl Scouting. Your donation can also help support scholarships and financial aid, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of a girl's journey.

In the past year, Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas served over 19,000 girls in our community and gave them the access to leadership building programming, mental health resources, outdoor education and STEM that they needed to thrive not only today but well into their futures.

When girls join Girl Scouts, we know:

  • 87% of Girls experience a sense of inclusion
  • 85% of Girls show a sense of self
  • 84% of Girls feel they can make a difference
  • 75% of Girls show healthy relationship skills
  • 68% of Girls feel like they belong
