God's Women of Purpose is a spiritual based nonprofit organization, designed to give hope to the hopeless. Our goal is to make sure when people leave our organization, they leave better than they came. We not only help survivors of domestic violence, but we also help those who have fallen on hard times, we help the homeless, single parents with children in college, we give out back to school supplies, we give out complete Thanksgiving baskets, we have completely furnished apartments for individuals who have relocated to our community. This ministry will help anyone who is seeking a better life for themselves. Our goal is to one day be a shelter for survivors of domestic violence, but until then we will continue to help give others hope.
God's Women of Purpose has been a ministry for almost eleven years. We have helped to develop many families as well as restore the way they view life. We meet once a month (the second Saturday) to gain strength from one another as we fight to put an end to domestic violence as well as the hurt that one maybe dealing with.
We have a 5k walk/run every September, this year it will be September 14, 2024, at Mike Lewis Park in Grand Prairie Texas at 9:00 am. We have a 3-day Conference every year in October, this year it will be October 11-13, 2024, at Courtyard by Marriott Carrollton Conference Center in Carrollton Texas. This is where we celebrate those who have dedicated their lives to the Ministry as well as empower those of us who feel defeated. In November we give out a complete Thanksgiving Basket, full of items needed for families to spend that time eating together and not worry about if they will have enough to eat. God's Women of Purpose coming together as ONE to serve our community while learning how to live, laugh and love with the help of our Lord and Savior who gives us the strength and mindset to perform the task that is before us. Our goal is to help develop battered women, teen moms, drug abuse, and women from all walks of life who maybe experiencing difficult times to REALIZE and KNOW they can be TRIUMPHANT.
