The Golden Swan Cadre’ is a domestic non-profit 501(c)3 organization that advocates against domestic abuse concerning women and for women’s health issues inclusive of mental health and self-nurturing.

Our purpose is empowering women to thrive once they have willfully removed themselves from domestic abuse/violence through mentorship by encouraging self-nurturing, healthy nutrition, building self-esteem, and by setting an example with providing victims with resources, emotional support or referrals to appropriate entities for support beyond our expertise. With also provide some assistance once they have left centers as they embark on surviving singular.

We do not advise or encourage anyone to leave their spouse. We are available only for the aforementioned, once they’ve been released from the domestic violence center and began their single-family home journey.

Within our purpose, our goal is to collaborate with DV centers, similar entities, or safe homes to be impactful within the communities that we serve in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Jersey we hope to keep the momentum going in other states.

Mission

Our mission is to provide support, services, and education regarding domestic abuse or violence, women's health issues, including mental health as well as to promote awareness, prevention, and advocacy within our low and moderate income communities.

We strive to create a safe and empowering environment where individuals and families can heal and thrive, free from the cycle of violence while improving one’s physical and mental health. We have coalesced a myriad of circumstances and opportunities to define and carry forward our purpose.

Needs

Golden Swan Cadre' assists victim survivors with their needs list as they begin their single family journey. By doing so we ask them what is it that they would like for us to do to help them begin their new lives. Sometimes it is furnishing a room or decorating a room in their apartment, sometimes it is stocking their refrigerator or providing clothing, etc. Whatever we can do to assist them as they leave the domestic violence centers to live on their own, we will assist them with doing that and mentor them for 12 consecutive months.

Equity Statement

We are a new non-profit organization that is less than 2 years in formation and partially self-funded for that reason. Our equity is still less than $5,000.
