$1,000 Goal

Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc. (GAP) is a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to providing resources to children in foster care. Our mantra is "Standing in the GAP for the Vulnerable and Voiceless." Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) under Federal and Texas state laws.

Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc. stepped in to fill the "gap" after Friends of Wednesday's Child, a similar non-profit in the area, closed their doors in July of 2017. Some of the volunteers at Friends of Wednesday's Child have become an integral part of Granted Advocacy Partners, Inc.

Our Needs

The Foster Youth Birthday Card Initiative- This initiative provides a personalized birthday card and gift card to foster children to recognize them on their special day. Each month, GAP sends personalized birthday cards with a gift card enclosed to children in foster care who are celebrating their birthday. Helping kids to celebrate themselves and experience the joy most children confidently expect, is just one of many ways GAP enriches the lives of foster children we serve.
