Helping Hands of Celina, Texas is a volunteer driven organization that serves those in need. Our objective is to assist the Celina Independent School District with an on-site Campus Closet which assist children in school with everyday essential needs. We also manage the adopt a teacher program which assist teachers with their classroom expenses. We are a resource for adoptive/foster families . We want to walk alongside these families and individuals to ensure they have more time to care for themselves, their children and those they are taking in.
The majority of those we serve are low-income, children, families, and at-risk youth.
Born in the hearts of local moms with a desire to love and serve the people of Celina. We are devoted to meeting the essential needs of children in our community by providing access to necessities through our teachers and adoptive/foster families. We extend our hands in partnership with the community as we come together to support those in need.
Hygiene items - for both boys & girls. Including lice kits, nail clippers, feminine products, hair brushes, body soap, body lotions, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste/toothbrushes & laundry soap.
Clothing - for boys & girls. Sizes 5T - Adult XXL. All seasons including coats, gloves, tops, bottoms & undergarments (underwear, bras, socks).
Shoes - for boys & girls. Sizes 10 -13 little kid, 1-4 big kid & 5-12 adult.
**Other needs arise for particular families that we try to meet as possible.
