Hope's Gate offers practical, life-giving hope to orphans, victims of human trafficking, and the world's most vulnerable.

We achieve our mission through our jewelry project, our education fund, and mentoring. We send volunteer teams to train young people rescued out of human trafficking and those at risk of exploitation to make jewelry and other handmade items. Each person receives a fair wage for the items they make, enabling them to save for the time in which they must leave the shelter they are living in. Hope's Gate sells the handmade products to raise both awareness and funding and break the cycle of exploitation and hopelessness.

Several years ago, we started our education fund. We recognized the need to give the young people working in our project a way to transition from living in safe houses to re-integrating into society. We currently support 30 young people to attend higher education.

Giving Activity

Mission

Hope's Gate offers practical, life giving hope to orphans, victims of human trafficking, and the world's most vulnerable.

Needs

In 2024, our Education fund expects to provide approximately $40K to students who are pursing higher education, so that the cycle of poverty can be broken in their lives. We currently have 4 students who would like to apply to our education fund that we have not yet been able to sponsor. Donations to our education fund through North Texas Giving Day will help us reach this goal.
