Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels (HRRA) is a 501c3 Non-Profit domestic animal trapping service, specializing (but not limited) in dogs. After years of freelancing in the trapping world, Hope’s Rescue and Recovery Angels was established in 2022 by Founder and President, Kacy Hendricks.
Texas is a in crisis with an over-population of pets, many of which are being dumped to survive on their own; others living in unfathomable conditions; meanwhile the lack of spay and neuter and breeding regulations contribute to more animals needing help. In addition, lost family pets requiring capture services continues to rise. Many local shelters contact us to humanely trap elusive animals that they simply do not have the resources to handle.
Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels provides mapping of potential sightings, analysis of the area lost, real time surveillance with live cameras, and sets strategic feeding stations - culminating with excellent capture outcomes. Each pet is different, so we work to condition them to get past their fears and formulate a tailored plan to humanely trap.
Advocating for the welfare of domestic animals is a key element of Hope’s Rescue and Recovery Angels mission. Our President/Founder has been sought out to speak to before governing bodies and community stakeholders, sharing real experiences.
Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels does not charge for services. We rely upon the generosity of donations to sustain operations and maintain supplies and equipment. Team and board members are all volunteers.
Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels services Collin and Dallas counties in Texas. Areas outside of North Texas are considered based on case load.
Mission
Hope's Rescue and Recovery Angels (HRRA) is a 501c3 Non-Profit domestic animal trapping service, specializing (but not limited) in dogs. Advocating for the welfare of domestic animals in need is the core of HRRA’s mission.
HRRA provides mapping of potential sightings, analysis of the area lost, real time surveillance with game and live cameras, and sets strategic feeding stations - culminating with excellent capture outcomes. Each pet is different, so HRRA works to condition them to get past their fears and formulates a tailored plan to capture them safely and securely.
HRRA strives to help educate the community about dog behavior and how it changes when it goes into "Fight or Flight" mode. How humans react can make all the difference in saving an animal’s life. HRRA strongly believes that education and communication is key.
Needs
HRRA does not charge for services. We rely on the generosity of donors to operate.
Our immediate needs include: trapping equipment, surveillance cameras including cellular and data service; feeding station supplies, transport carriers, veterinary supplies, veterinary care as applicable, fuel, and other rescue associated expenses.
