Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas, Inc. (HVSD) is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, created in 2004 to assist homeless and at-risk veterans. HVSD operates and manages the Veterans Resource Center (VRC) which opened in 2011 as a "one-stop" center to assist veterans. One end of our building has programs to assist all veterans with needs such as filing claims, educational programs and resources for employment. The other end of our facility is a day center designed to assist veterans who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless.
The VRC kept its doors open during the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations/funds were reduced due to the pandemic canceling all of the fundraisers that had been planned. YOUR help is desperately needed so we can continue helping our veterans. 2022 and 2023 brought even more obstacles such as unprecedented inflation which has caused even more veterans to seek out assistance. Our PASSION is helping veterans and with YOUR generous donations - we will be able to continue serving those who served for all of us.
