JEWISH EDUCATION AGENCY
The Jewish Education Agency (JEA) is a non-profit organization under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is governed by a Board of Directors. The standing committees of the JEA are: Executive, Finance, Education, and Personnel. Meetings of the Board of Directors are held monthly.
The following are governed by the JEA:
· The Lil Goldman Early Learning Center
· Camp Shalom
The Lil Goldman Early Learning Center is devoted to fostering academic excellence, love of learning, the transmission of Jewish values, and the affirmation of each individuals self worth through developmentally appropriate play.
We want our students to have an enjoyable learning experience in the classroom celebrating holidays together as a school family, doing hands on learning, and extracurricular activities throughout the week that offer socializations, physical development, enhances higher order thinking skills, and implements STEAM learning.
We hope to raise enough to ensure that we can fund these activities throughout the school year and during our summer camp.
Having activities such as Music, Stretch n Grow, hands on experiments in cooking and science, and celebrating our holidays is such a rewarding environment for children to learn and thrive in as a school family.
During the school year and summer, we have visits from the Big Barn Petting Farm, Mr. Music, Magic shows by Magical Matty, learning about different animals from the Fort Worth Nature Center, and many more visitors and experiences that benefit learning for the children.
We would also like to provide more educational/ training options and opportunities for our teachers. We would love to give our teachers an opportunity to become certified in areas that would benefit them, our students, and our school.
To be able to provide not only the required training needed but to go beyond minimum and strive for exceptional is our goal. To provide the teachers with the many tools that they need to help guide, nurture, and teach our children to have the ability to succeed in their future endeavors.
The Lil Goldman Early Learning Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnic origin, or physical disabilities in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and other school administered programs.
Although we are a Jewish preschool, our staff and families come from a diverse set of backgrounds, faiths or religions, and family dynamics. Adherence to Judaism is not a requirement for admission or hiring.
The JEA is committed to providing all children a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environment. The school's ability to accommodate children with special needs will be determined on an individual basis.
