St. John Paul II said to the youth at World Youth Day in 2000, "Do not be afraid to be the saints of the new millennium!" These words resonate deeply with the challenges and opportunities our young people experience today, particularly those who are navigating the journey of higher education. In a world that tries to pull them away from their faith, it is essential that we, as a community, stand firm in our commitment to keeping our college kids rooted in their Catholic identity.

St. John Paul II University Parish is here in Denton, TX to do just that. Located just across Eagle Drive from UNT to serve them and TWU, we have a team of missionaries dedicated to making every student feel welcome and find a place in the community. Bible studies and small groups provide continuing Catholic education. Retreats enrich their faith, and daily access to the Sacraments keeps them rooted in their Catholic identity.

Mission

We energetically feed the Catholic faith to the college students, faculty, staff, and alumni of UNT, TWU, NCTC as well as reach out to young Catholic adults throughout the DFW area. We do this with our campus missionaries who encourage students to attend 1-on-1 mentorship, Bible studies, daily Mass, and much more.
