KIDS HOPE USA

Kids Hope USA exists to build life-changing relationships, one at a time. For nearly 30 years, Kids Hope USA has provided a proven framework for community-focused churches to invest in their neighborhood schools by building one-on-one relationships between volunteer mentors and elementary and middle school students. We offer our church partners the necessary structure, training, and best practices based on industry standards to run and sustain independent mentoring programs that create opportunities to build life-changing relationships between members of their congregations and kids in their neighborhood schools.  

Our Kids Hope USA mentors come alongside families, teachers, and communities to support students who could most benefit from the additional support of a committed and caring adult. Each mentor offers a steady presence in the life of a child, meets with their student for one hour each week, and is committed to investing in their growth and development, academically, socially, and emotionally. This simple act of showing up week in and week out over time has a compounding impact and promotes positive outcomes in our kids; and even more so as Kids Hope USA mentoring relationships average three years – that's over 3x the national average for mentoring relationships - with many continuing for the entirety of elementary and even middle school!
