The Krum Friends of the Library is a volunteer organization that helps sponsor exciting programs and services while sharing a love of the library. The Friends work as a link between the library institution and the community that it serves.
The Friends have raised funds for the Krum Public Library through donations and events such as March Festival, Fall Carnival, Yule Ball and more! All funds collected have been applied to providing the library with furniture, display art, restroom changing tables, craft supplies, and prizes for the Summer Reading Program along with other events.
This year the funds raised will be directed towards our Children's Area Refresh, redoing the children's area with new shelving and some fun wall mounted activities.
To support and advocate for the library through volunteer work and fundraising efforts so that the library can provide high quality materials and services, educational programming, and special projects and equipment to the community.
