Mission

TLACA's mission is to restore the role of the village by building healthy leaders in communities. We do this through leadership development, education, and creative arts that promote social-emotional well-being, economic mobility, and community building for the entire family.

Needs

The Leadership Academy of Creative Arts requires capital funding to continue our multi-generational programming and enhance our data management capabilities. We need to invest in a strong data software, such as Salesforce or a custom-built CRM, as our current use of Google is no longer sufficient for our growing needs. Additionally, we seek funding to compensate our team, as our current work is volunteer-based despite the significant hours we dedicate to supporting families in achieving their educational and career goals.

Equity Statement

At The Leadership Academy of Creative Arts, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive and equitable environment where everyone can experience excellence and belonging. Equity is essential to creating a just and supportive learning community. Our mission is to provide high-quality education and resources to individuals regardless of their background, socioeconomic status, disabilities, or other marginalizing factors.

We recognize and value the diverse experiences and perspectives of our students and staff, and we strive to address and dismantle systemic barriers that hinder access to educational opportunities. Our programs are designed to be accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all participants, ensuring that everyone can achieve their full potential.

By embracing equity, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering environment that promotes fairness, respect, and opportunity for all. We continuously evaluate and improve our practices to ensure they align with our commitment to equity and inclusion.
