Life in Deep Ellum is an inclusive, faith-based cultural center in the heart of Deep Ellum. With over twenty years of history, our community is a vibrant gathering place for people on the margins. We gather around the arts, good coffee, meaningful conversation, and community service. We believe the world is a better place when we gather across differences to build impactful partnerships. As a non-profit, we creatively utilize our facility to enhance the good work of artists, business leaders, and non-profits in our city. By offering discounted event rentals and inclusive art gallery space, we make room for the next great idea to become a reality. The four pillars of Life in Deep Ellum are MUSIC, COMMUNITY, ART, AND COMMERCE. Our four walls offer belonging, connection, and inspiration. Our faith is the energetic core of what we do but we don't come with an agenda. We are more concerned with good relationships than perfect doctrine. We want to know one another without the limiting biases and distractions holding us back. We believe we really are stronger together -- especially when we are willing to share space, exchange new ideas, and deepen our spiritual commitment to justice and belonging for all people.
