Equity Statement
At Lightpath Health, diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital components of the organization’s values. We embrace diverse perspectives with a “seek to understand” approach, propelling team members to collaborate and learn from one another. The shared purpose of helping communities thrive fosters meaningful relationships and an environment of creativity and growth. This is the basis for creating a sustainable and equitable model of providing primary care to transform what is possible in our communities through access to basic care.
Lightpath Health believes that the voices of those impacted by racial injustice and discrimination should be incorporated into the design and implementation of our programs. By partnering with deeply rooted and trusted community-based organizations to inform programs, services, and community engagement, we aim to create a safe environment where people can receive care and build trust in the medical community. Program participants are encouraged to openly share their feedback, which enables us to foster that safe environment and focus on continuous improvement and learning.
To further incorporate diverse community perspectives and experiences, we host listening sessions with community members. We believe that everyone deserves high-quality primary care, and that listening to our neighbors is an essential element to delivering on that goal.
Lightpath Health’s staff is 17% Black or African American, 33% white, and 50% Other or declined to provide the information; 100% identify as female.
