We work with the shelters in Bonham, Sherman, Paris, Glenn Heights, Garland, Ft Worth and Dallas by taking the sick senior dogs that would most likely be euthanized or end up as non adoptable and utilizing kennel space that could save more dogs. We have assisted with bonded pairs on several occasions to ensure the dogs remain together for the rest of their lives. Most of the dogs we accept are sick and require extensive veterinary care.
Our Needs
Funds for veterinary care, 5 kinds of dry and canned dogfood, medications, blankets, beds and cleaning supplies.
Giving Activity
Mission
To provide a safe and loving home for senior/sick dogs who end up in shelters or owner surrenders. These senior and sick dogs are rarely chosen for adoption due to the high cost of medical and requirements to care for them. We believe that the sick senior dogs need a place to call home and have all their needs met. Our focus is on making their quality of life the best it can be for whatever time they have left. Each dog we take becomes a part of our family and is provided with all the love their heart can hold.
Needs
We use our donations for dogfood, medications, beds, blankets and cleaning supplies.
Equity Statement
We will work with any shelter in our area to assist with senior dogs and also work with citizens who need to rehome their senior dogs as we have availability.
