$1,000 Goal

Our ministry has been established for thirty-two years, and our outreach programs have helped many families in our community. We host health fairs, senior luncheons, annual holiday food basket giveaways, annual Thanksgiving luncheon for a local men's transitional agency, and annual Christmas luncheon where we serve the local seniors with food and gifts. The ministry also partners with North Texas Food Bank Mobile Pantry and distributes free produce twice a month...serving approximately 300 families per month. When the need arises, and funds are available, we assist with utility payments, rent, transportation, furniture, clothing, childcare, school supplies, shelter, etc.

Sisters of Solidarity is a women's ministry which was formed under the covering of Miracle Temple Fellowship Church. The purpose of this ministry is to assist women and children transitioning out of abusive relationships, substance abuse, or just seeking a lifestyle change that will help them and their family members, have a better relationship with each other, as well a better relationship with God. Seventy Five percent of this is done through volunteers, fund raisers and member contributions.

Our Needs

We would like to increase our food distribution and expand our pantry. We want to add meat and other non-perishable food items, and toiletries to our distribution. Our goal for the coming year, is to distribute food weekly instead of twice a month. In 2020 we were able to renovate our pantry area and purchase an additional freezer to accommodate the additional items. Since Covid-19, there is a greater need for food and other assistance for those affected by the virus. The funds raised from this event will help us with our ongoing endeavor to serve those less fortunate in our community and surrounding areas.

Mission

To grow, equip and strengthen the body of Christ, by discipling others in our community and surrounding areas. This involves preaching, teaching, healing, counseling, mentoring, nurturing, encouraging, giving, and administering. Using our gifts and resources, to serve and train those who desire to pursue a positive lifestyle change.
