We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) rescue! Each kitty in our rescue has been saved from either a shelter or dire situation. They have been spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and received a 30 day flea treatment. They have clean bills of health! They have also been loved and kissed and cuddled tons, so they are extremely affectionate and sweet! Our goal is that each cat is given the chance to live a full life of love and comfort.
Maricats Rescue is a volunteer based, non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the safety, health and well being of homeless, abused, and abandoned cats and to place them in loving, nurturing homes to the best of our ability.
This is accomplished through foster to adoption programs, medical assistance, raising community awareness of the animals in need and building relationships with other north Texas animal rescue groups.
Our needs include full vetting of each cat to include spay/neuter, combo tests, vaccines, microchips, deworming medicine and flea treatments. We also need funds for vet visits when an incoming animal is sick or injured. There is always the need of food and litter and basic necessities for all of our foster kitties.
