Ma'ruf Dallas' NTXGD is focused on addressing one of the most critical issues for vulnerable populations in the DFW Metroplex - Housing. For the homeless, refugees, and working poor, securing stable and affordable housing is a significant challenge that impacts every aspect of their lives. With Dallas County having over 4,000 people experiencing homelessness, our neighbors are in desperate need of safe housing solutions.

Many of our clients are employed in physically demanding jobs with limited opportunities for advancement and low wages. This financial instability makes it difficult for them to secure and maintain adequate housing. We are dedicated to breaking this cycle by not only providing career training but also supporting families in their quest for stable housing with Short and Long-Term Responses.

Our Unique Solution: Homeless Rescue Program

A single job loss, unexpected medical expenses, or a one-time financial hardship can quickly spiral into homelessness, with each challenge compounding to create new obstacles that make it difficult to regain stability. To begin rebuilding just providing shelter is not enough; we use targeted personalized approaches. Our dedicated case managers work closely with them to uncover the root causes of their displacement and provide guidance and resources to help them regain their independence.

We are on the front lines of fighting homelessness in the DFW area, providing critical support to families on the brink. This year alone, we helped over 412 families, including those living in their cars, by offering immediate shelter.

Our Needs

A key need is the ability to provide financial assistance to families to help pay rent, utilities and other bills while they are on their path to self-sufficiency.
