The Mexican American Museum of Texas (tmamt), a 501(c)3 non profit organization, founded in June 2022, is the first of its kind in the state dedicated solely to the Mexican American experience within nine unique cultural regions in the state. Recent exhibits have been, "Tejanas at the Alamo: Conduits of Remembrance" at the Texas hall of state and "Texas Tamaladas: A Family Tradition" at Dallas City Hall.

The Mexican American

Museum of Texas (TMAMT).

The purpose of the TMAMT is to provide, permanently and on a visiting basis, a venue for exhibiting or interpreting Mexican American history, culture and origins, as well as past and present customs.

The TMAMT's objective is to enrich current and future generations from a Mexican American perspective.
