Mission

The Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming (MARS) Foundation will seek to provide instruction in all areas of aquatics to individuals and families within the community supported through partnerships with municipalities and non-profit service organizations. The main goal of the MARS Foundation will be to enable low-income individuals, primarily children, to receive swimming instruction at little or no cost. The MARS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization (EIN 26-1965823).

The Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming Foundation aims to provide the opportunity for every person in the community to learn to swim. Throughout the year, the MARS Foundation provides scholarships to individuals and families to provide life-saving swim lessons and water safety. The MARS Foundation and its partners help to support swimming lessons, and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim.

Needs

Community financial support is our biggest need. Funding for swim lessons and water safety instruction, as well as for scholarships are our biggest budgetary items each year.

A single $60 donation can bring life-saving swim lessons to someone in our community.

Other needs include swimsuits, swim caps and goggles for those needing financial assistance.
