The statistics never change. We're making cars safer every year, yet for 40+ consecutive years car accidents continue to be the leading cause of teenage deaths in the USA. Nickel from Nicole's simple message is highly effective, whether a single teen is targeted, or an entire student body. Nicole's tragic story, and how the Nickel came to be, is told through a short video that touches everyone. Nickel Cards are assembled and distributed. The "Nickel" is removed from the card and placed on the recipient's dashboard to serve as a constant reminder to drive safely. "Saving Lives One Nickel at a Time"
We have never charged a "Nickel" for our safe driving awareness collateral - eliminating cost as a hurdle not to participate. Therefore, we rely heavily on the support of our community's donations to help cover the cost of: Materials to build and distribute Nickel Cards; Marketing and Promotion; Participation in Public/Private Speaking & Exhibit Engagements.
