Our Purpose

The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) charitable Foundation extends the important and influential work of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, which has a 70-year legacy of supporting and advocating for business and economic growth in Dallas and surrounding areas. The Foundation allows us to more broadly provide opportunities for business engagement and civic advocacy beyond what the core Chamber operating budget covers. 

Our Fundraising Priorities in 2024

1. Membership Scholarships – for new, diverse and emerging businesses that want to be a part of our valuable Chamber network but may not have it in their budgets to take the membership step. 
2. Advocacy Amplified – participating with other civic and business organizations in coalition to advance pro-business advocacy efforts that help make Dallas a better place to live, work, raise a family and grow a business.
3. Community Engagement – supporting other civic, nonprofit and business organizations by attending their events, awards programs and educational forums when they align with our mission. 

Funds raised will cover:

• 5 membership scholarships for business start-ups, and small or diverse businesses not already members of the North Dallas Chamber
• Support of local advocacy efforts such as “Get Out the Vote” or other educational, non-partisan campaigns or programs that improve civic engagement
• Participation in local business or civic events through purchasing tables at events with other organizations
