Our Needs

NTSR is in need of donations for veterinary expenses related to heartworm treatments, dentals, spay/neuter, allergy and skin related issues for our rescues. Our organization covers the ongoing expenses from food to all future vet care needed for our permanent fosters. Permanent foster scotties, due to their extensive medical needs, are not adopted out but remain in the care of dedicated foster families.

Mission

North Texas Scottie Rescue, Inc. (NTSR) is created and dedicated to the protection of Scottish Terriers, prevention of all forms of animal cruelty and placement of homeless dogs in life-long homes qualified to provide the care and environment suitable for this breed or any other breed if needed. We are a 501(3)(c) organization.

NTSR provides the transportation, vet care and testing, altering, socialization, and sometimes, the only humane treatment they have ever known. NTSR operates completely on donations and adoption fees.

NTSR is sanctioned and approved by the Scottish Terrier Club of America (STCA) and approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC).

NTSR is based in Flower Mound, Texas with volunteers in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Plano and surrounding areas.

Needs

NTSR needs continuing donations to support our permanent foster Scotties, Scarlett, Jack, and Kenzie. Their food, ongoing vet care, grooming, and medical needs are covered by NTSR throughout their lives in their foster homes.
