Through generous donations and membership dues the Park Forest Library Friends continually support library improvements and special events and classes for children, teen, and adult patrons of the Park Forest Branch. Since 1995, the Park Forest Library Friends has existed for the support and betterment of the Park Forest Branch Library located at the corner of Forest Lane and Cromwell Drive in Dallas, Texas.

Mission
The purpose of the organization is to promote greater awareness of and assistance to the Park Forest Branch of the Dallas Public Library as a community educational, cultural and activity center which fills unique neighborhood needs. This organization is guided by a philosophy of inclusiveness, equitability, affordability and a spirit of cooperation.
