The Homeless Coalition leads the community solution to homelessness in greater Tarrant and Parker counties by serving as a catalyst for community transformation. Our vision is a vibrant community where everyone has a place to call home and the resources to live their best life.
The Homeless Coalition provides systems-wide support to over 40 organizations and entities who work in homeless services, coordinating the community response focused on helping the more than 11,400 people experiencing homelessness in Tarrant and Parker counties each year. Our role in coordinating the community response is bringing together nonprofit, government, and other invested partners to provide housing-first solutions to homelessness. We serve as a collaborative force, providing systems-wide guidance and resources to ensure that partner agencies’ interventions are effective and efficient for the most vulnerable in our community. As lead agency for the local CoC, we foster relationships with organizations, individuals, governments, and businesses to implement strategies that help people exiting homelessness find stability in housing, income, and access to support services.
