Pegasus Theatre wants to make sure the show goes on! We've been a Dallas fixture for 38 years and counting. COVID gave theatre around the globe a hard go of it and our story is no different. In 2020 and much of 2021 we tried to maneuver around it, giving Zoom performances and even filming the 2020 Living Black and White as a movie. In 2022, we cautiously returned to live performances with great success. This year, more than ever, Pegasus Theatre needs your contributions. Some of our key vendors have changed prices and billing policies significantly. We need to have twice as much funding on hand before the show opens as a result.
This year we are looking to raise $20000 to help us mount a Classic Black and White show, DEATH EXPRESS!, and we can't do it without you! We need your help.
Pegasus Theatre produces new and original comedies to inspire and cultivate North Texas artists, and to entertain, enlighten, and engage our community.
As theater-makers, we hold ourselves accountable to practices that will ensure that Pegasus Theatre is an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and actively anti-racist organization, both on-stage and off. Moving forward, you will see the same diversity on the audition team that we hope to see on-stage. We will charge our directors to be "diversity conscious" in their casting. And we will strive to make the audition room a safe space for all, regardless of age, race, color, gender identity, disability, religion, veteran status, national origin, or sexual orientation.
