Equity Statement
Phoenix Health Alliance is committed to promoting health equity for all adolescents, regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or zip code. We believe that access to comprehensive and inclusive reproductive health education is a fundamental human right.
We strive to achieve this by:
Centering the voices and needs of marginalized youth in our program development and resource creation.
Providing culturally competent education that is sensitive to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Eliminating barriers to access by offering our programs and resources in multiple languages and formats, at convenient locations, and with sensitivity to financial limitations.
Building partnerships with organizations serving marginalized communities to ensure outreach and services reach those most in need.
Continuously evaluating our programs and resources to identify and address any inequities in their reach and impact.
We are dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect within our organization and working towards a future where all adolescents have the knowledge, resources, and power to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and well-being.
This statement is a public commitment by Phoenix Health Alliance to ongoing self-reflection and continuous improvement in achieving health equity for adolescents in our community.
