$2,500 Goal

For more than 30 years, the Birdville ISD Council of PTAs has operated the Clothes Connection and Supply Depot programs to provide assistance for economically disadvantaged students in BISD. Both programs are volunteer organized and operated, and supported by many generous community donations.

Our goal is to ensure that students in need are prepared to start school and are able to remain in school, through the simple act of providing necessities–clothing, undergarments, shoes, backpacks, and supplies.

Students eligible for free or reduced lunch, and others experiencing emergency circumstances, can shop at Clothes Connection once per semester. They receive one week's worth of new socks and underwear, gently used clothes and jackets, and a new pair of shoes.

Supply Depot purchases and delivers school supplies directly to counselors on Birdville campuses, allowing for quick and confidential distribution to students in need.

Mission

To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

Needs

Ability to purchase school supplies, new clothing, shoes, socks and underwear for students who require our assistance. We also accept gently used donations of shoes and clothing items.
