For 40 years, The Richardson ISD Foundation has been the sole nonprofit organization in Dallas County, TX, raising money exclusively to benefit 37,051 students and nearly 6,000 teachers and employees in RISD. Since 1984, we’ve joined hands with individuals, local businesses and community organizations to invest more than $8 million in RISD students, teachers and staff, serving as a vehicle for the community to support public education.
Our Impact
The Richardson ISD Foundation's mission is to advance impactful opportunities to benefit all within the Richardson Independent School District.
We need community support to help fund Impact Grants for Richardson ISD teachers and staff.
Through our Impact Grant program, we aim to empower and support district staff in enhancing their skills and improving student outcomes. RISD staff can apply for grants of up to $1,000 in the following areas: Classroom Materials and Resources, Professional Development, Student Experiences, and Technology.
LAST YEAR, 20% OF THE IMPACT GRANT APPLICATIONS WE RECEIVED WERE NOT FUNDED BECAUSE WE DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH FINANCIAL RESOURCES.
