Rockwall High School Orange Wave Band Boosters

Recent Concert Band Accomplishments:

• 4 students qualified for 2024 6A TMEA All-State musicians, with 3 of them being first in their respective rooms.
• 24 students qualified for 2024 UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest
• 51 students qualified for 2024 6A TMEA Region 3 All-Region Band
• 20 students qualified for 2024 6A TMEA Region 3 Area Band
• 8 freshmen made the All-Region Band.
• 2024 UIL First Ratings for all 3 concert bands
• Wind Ensemble Band attended the 2024 National Concert Band Festival Music for All National Festival and represented our school and state well.
• Wind Ensemble advanced to the Area level of Honor Band process.
• One student won the 2024 North Texas Percussion Festival.

Recent Marching Band Accomplishments:

• UIL Area Marching Finalist for 5 consecutive years
• 2023 Bands of America (by invitation only) (placed 15th)

Recent Color Guard Accomplishments:

• Varsity Winterguard won their round in NTCA Scholastic A and advanced to the State Finals where were silver medalists.
• One Varsity Winterguard member earned a NTCA scholarship.

Why Are Donations Necessary?

Donations will allow us to provide the funding necessary to enrich and support music education for all of our students within the Rockwall High School band programs. Our desire is to inspire and promote interest among parents, faculty, administration, and community, and your donations are vital.

How Are Donations Used?

Donations will go towards updating equipment, supplemental instruction fees, and the increased cost in competition fees as well as transportation costs, just to name a few. Your support is instrumental to the success of our program, and we are aware that we cannot do this without you.
